I realized last night while I was driving that I don't trust my own decisions. I think this is maybe why I don't do real well on tests, I know the information but I can't trust my gut instinct. Just below the Midstation on Sunday afternoon, there was a double rainbow caused by the low sun and the ice crystals in the air. If we'd had a wide angle lens with us instead if a point-and-shoot we could have captured the double halo plus extra arcs going in the opposite direction like the one at the top of this shot. The ice crystals were floating past like gold dust. I felt like I was in a special effect in a movie. Through polarised goggles, the colours were much more intense, too. 1. Even though I got my license like 3 weeks ago, I haven't driven any where. Not to work, or IGA, or Shauna's, or bowling, or shopping, and I don't understand why.2. This morning frodo (my dog) wouldn't eat breakfast, and normally he is all over dad if he forgets to put out his food. Frodo would go look at his dish and then at dad and then lick the floor and then sniff his food and then put his head in dads lap and then he looked at me with this worried look in his eyes like the world is ending and then he sniffed the floor and then looked around and this went on for a good 5 minutes. I kinda felt bad for him, but he finally managed to eat so all was good. 3. I just found this sweet song: Royksopp - So Easy Go listen right now, and try not to picture snowboarding. Is it wierd that I see snowboarding when I listen to this song... probably not. 4. I did 296 stairs today at lunch, and according to this calorie counter thingy-ma-bob, I lost 100 calories. Wicked! Then after I went and ate a bowl full of cream of broccoli soup. Delicious, but not so wicked... 5. It almost snowed the other day. Those poor clouds were trying soooo hard to produce the stuff that it just turned into rain =( 6. My brother is being stupid. 7. I got a sweet new Nalgene bottle the other day. Its lime green and is BPA free!!! Awesome, no more toxins sitting in my water, and I have a new place to put all of my stickers =D Plus its HUGE! 32 ounces of huge (but I don't know what that would be in metric units... maybe 1000 ml?)
